GiannisAntetokoumpo has been a hot topic in NBA circles for the past few weeks.
His deal with the Bucks is set to expire after the 2019-20 season, and his agent told ESPN.com that he had been negotiating for three or four months.
The deal will be voided if the Bucks choose not to make a playoff push in the 2019 NBA Finals, and Antetos contract is one of the reasons why.
Antetos agent, Brian Falk, told ESPN that Antetoumpos deal is a “bad, bad deal” for the Bucks.
“He’s a free agent,” Falk said.
“The Bucks don’t have a choice.
The Bucks, though, have made a push to get Giannis back for next season. “
They want to sign him to a long-term contract, but there’s no other option.”
The Bucks, though, have made a push to get Giannis back for next season.
They’re in the process of trying to trade him for an expiring contract.
They are still in the market for a point guard, and they are looking to re-sign Kevin Love.
A source close to the situation told ESPN’s Marc Stein that the Bucks have made no overtures to Giannis, but that they want to work out a deal.
If they do not get the services of Giannis in the summer of 2019, the Bucks would have to make the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
