North Jersey is being seen as the ideal place to wear a hot car in a sport where players are expected to drive in hot climates and a driver has to drive a tank.
But in reality, it’s the home of the Lakers, which is where the league’s biggest and most successful franchise is located.
The Lakers were founded in 1967 by Jerry Buss, who was also an owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, and they won three NBA championships between 1964 and 1973.
They have a history of making some of the most memorable uniforms ever.
North Jersey sports writer Mark Purdy writes about the North Jersey teams jersey designs and how they came to be.
North Jersey’s jerseys are a hot seller among fans who want to emulate their hometown teams, even if the team isn’t there.
“It’s hard to be a true fan in North Jersey and be in the market for jerseys that are so different than what you’re used to,” said David McBeth, the owner of The Team Store, a North Jersey-based jersey company.
“The thing that makes North Jersey jerseys unique is they’re very well thought out.
They’re a lot of work, but I like that it’s a little bit of fun.”
Buss’s Lakers were not in the league when they were in the city.
They moved to Los Angeles in 1969.
They won six NBA titles in the 1970s and 1980s before moving to California.
Their last championship came in the 2011-12 season, when they lost in the first round to the Houston Rockets.
The North Jersey jersey trend began in 2010 when a number of North Jersey players joined the NBA.
The New York Knicks, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Philadelphia Sixers and the Los Angeles Lakers all were represented on the team’s jerseys at one point.
The first North Jersey hot-rodders to get noticed were former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal and the New York Giants’ Brandon Jennings, who also had a short stint in the NBA before moving on to the NBA draft.
O’Neil, who had a deal with Nike for $1 million, is now in his third season with the Lakers.
Jennings played three seasons in the Lakers’ organization before being released and signed with the Philadelphia Phillies in the offseason.
He was later traded to the Minnesota Vikings and was the first player to be released from the team.
After Jennings left the team in 2017, the Lakers decided to sign rookie Dario Saric.
He has become the face of North Carolina basketball, playing for North Carolina State University and playing in the D-League.
He also helped North Carolina win a state championship in 2016 and 2017.
The franchise has not won a championship since 2011.
McBeth has been selling North Jersey team jerseys for years, and his company has seen a steady increase in sales.
“I’m selling out every season,” he said.
“There’s no way I could do this without the Lakers.”
