New jersey malls have opened in New Jersey and New York.
The Jersey Mall, which opened in September, has about 300,000 square feet of retail space.
The store was built with $1.8 billion in state aid, and was built to open in 2020, said Josh Kriegel, a vice president at the New Jersey Department of Business Development and Economic Development.
The mall will be a hub for local retailers.
The city will also be hosting the annual Jersey Day Parade in 2021, which will take place on Saturday, June 25.
The New York mall will have about 500,000 sq. ft. of retail.
The space is designed to cater to retailers that have been struggling to grow in New Yorkers’ fast-paced, urbanized environment.
The Brooklyn-Queens Expressway is currently being widened and a pedestrian mall is being built along Broadway.
The new Jersey Mall in New Brunswick, New Jersey is the first Jersey mall to open since 2013.
“It’s a great opportunity to be able to offer our residents a better shopping experience with a more convenient location and a higher quality of life,” said New Brunswick Mayor Mark P. Larche.
The retail space will include a new food court, a food court with food trucks and a food truck plaza.
The Mall also has the potential to grow with the addition of a hotel.
The developers hope to open the first hotel in the mall in 2019.
“The success of this mall and its success in the region and globally will provide a great economic opportunity for the area and the state of New Jersey,” said Robert S. Goggin, chairman and CEO of the New Brunswick Development Corporation.
