How the Steelers are playing for home field advantage as divisional series with Steelers begins

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is using his team to his advantage in a three-game series with the Cleveland Browns.

It is a situation that the team hopes will be beneficial for both teams to get a feel for each other.

The Browns have won three straight and have played well this season, but have not won a game at Heinz Field.

This will be Tomlin’s first trip to the Big House.

“You never know when a big game like this comes around, especially when you’re playing in Cleveland,” Tomlin said.

“The way it was going, we were able to put up a great fight in the first half.

We got in a bit of a funk and had to come back and finish the game, so we wanted to win this game.”

Tomlin is aware the Steelers can win a home game with a defensive stand-off, especially against a defense that has struggled against the run.

The Steelers have had issues stopping running backs in the past.

The Ravens led the league with five sacks against the Steelers in 2015.

Tomlin said it was important to keep the Steelers disciplined.

He is not worried about how many sacks he will get.

“We’ve got to stay disciplined,” Tomlinsaid.

“When we play the defense, we’ve got five or six guys on the field, so that’s a concern.”

Tomlinsays he expects to play in the game in Cleveland.

The Pittsburgh quarterback said the Browns have been the better team in his first meeting with the Steelers.

Tomlin was a part of the Steelers’ 2014 Super Bowl championship team and has a lot of respect for the Browns.
