Miami Dolphins to sign Eli Manning to new deal

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms on a new five-year contract with quarterback Eli Manning, league sources told The Washington Post.

Sources told The Post that the deal includes $50 million guaranteed, with the remaining $10 million guaranteed for injury, including a $25 million buyout if the quarterback is released by Miami.

Manning, 32, is due a base salary of $14.5 million this season.

The Dolphins are in the midst of their third offseason, but they have not yet announced a new general manager or head coach.
