In a post-match press conference, the team said:The team was pleased to announce that it has sold approximately 80,000 of the new jersey to the highest bidder in New Zealand, bringing the total number of jersey sales to more than 60,000.
The jersey was manufactured by NZRU in a partnership with Nike and the brand has received numerous awards and accolades.
The Rugby League World Cup will take place from June 7 to June 11, 2018, with a total of 11 teams competing in 12 countries, including the United Kingdom, England, France, Germany, Australia and Ireland.
